입춘날, 입춘시에 좋은 문구를 써 문에 붙이는 입춘방(또는 입춘첩)은 새로운 봄을 맞이하여 평안과 한 해의 복을 기원하고자 했던 우리의 풍습이다. FROMtheTYPE은 2016년부터 서체 디자이너 한동훈과 함께 입춘방을 각자의 장점을 모아 재해석해오고 있다.
2023년의 입춘방은 검은 토끼의 해를 맞아 토끼처럼 몽글몽글하고 통통 튀는 복을 전하려는 마음으로 글자와 도형들을 그렸다.

Ipchunbang (or Ipchuncheop) is a custom that we wish for peace and good fortune for the year in the new spring. Since 2016, FROMtheTYPE has been reinterpreting Ipchunbang with type designer Donghoon Han, gathering their own strengths.
In 2023, Ipchunbang drew letters and figures with the intention of conveying a hare-like and bouncing blessing in celebration of the year of the black rabbit.
