특별한 날 케이크를 사 오기는 어렵고, 배달시키려니 배달하는 곳이 잘 없던 경험은 누구나 한 번쯤은 있을 것입니다.
이 문제는 케이크를 취급하는 사장님이 케이크를 배달하기에 안전한 포장 용품이 없는 문제에서 비롯되었습니다. 주로 오토바이를 통해 배달되는 특성상, 덜컹거림이나 급커브등의 오토바이 주행특징은 케이크를 한쪽으로 쏠리게 하거나 박스 천장에 들러붙게 하여 애써 데코레이션한 케이크가 온전하지 못한 상태로 배달되는 위험이 크기에 사장님들이 케이크를 배달 메뉴에서 취급하는 것에 어려움을 느끼는 것입니다.
이를 개선하고자 배민상회에서는 케이크 홀더와 케이크 띠지를 개발했습니다. 통상적으로 취급되는 케이크박스 1호 사이즈에 딱 들어가도록 만들어진 접이식 케이크 홀더와 박스 높이에 딱 맞도록 계산되어 케이크를 감싸는 띠지가 함께 구성되어집니다.
오토바이의 덜컹거림을 띠지가 케이크를 잡아 보호해주고, 급커브에서 한쪽으로 쏠리지 않도록 케이크 홀더가 옆을 잡아주는 구조로 설계되었습니다. 이로써 케이크가 사장님이 의도한 모양대로 배달될 수 있는 확률이 높아졌습니다.
케이크 박스 외부의 그래픽은 양초가 장식된 케이크의 모습을 한글과 영어로 나타냈습니다.

It is difficult to buy a cake on a special day, and everyone will have had the experience at least once when there were not many places to deliver it.
