서울시 광진구 화양동에 위치한 이재철도예공방은 제게 몇 년간 취미 이상의 의미를 주고 있는 공간입니다.
아름다운 도자기를 만드는 것 말고도 흙을 만지며 무언가를 만들어내는 과정의 즐거움을 중요시하는 이재철도예공방의 성격을 담기 위해, 흙의 자연스러운 모양을 재료로 하여 비정형적인 형태의 글자들을 빚었습니다.
2022년, 공방을 여신 지 10년을 맞이하는 공방장 님이 새로운 공방의 얼굴과 함께 매년 새롭게 즐거운 계절을 마주하시길 바라는 마음입니다.

Clayjc Ceramic studio, located in Hwayang-dong, Gwangjin-gu, Seoul, has been a space that has been more than a hobby for me for several years.
In order to capture the character of the Clayjc Ceramic studio, which values the joy of creating something by touching the soil in addition to making beautiful pottery, the characters of atypical shapes were created using the natural shape of the soil as a material.
In 2022, I hope that the master of the workshop, who will be celebrating 10 years of opening the studio, will face a new and enjoyable season every year with the new face of studio.
